Skin Infections

Bacterial, fungal and soft tissues infections are some of the most common causes of skin infection.1,2

In resource-poor settings, the availability of skin-condition treatments is affected by the cost of medicines.3

Globally, skin conditions are receiving more attention and relevant medications have been included on the WHO List of Essential Medicines.3

Skin Infection

Sandoz is a global leader in anti-infectives. Close co-operation with Novartis and decades of experience allow us to set industry standards for quality and continuity of supply.4 We actively work to ensure a broad portfolio is always available.4

Sandoz South Africa provides antibiotics and OTC anti-fungal medication listed in the WHO List of Essential Medicines for the treatment of skin infections.5 6 7 8 This list of cost-effective medications is critical for both reducing the socioeconomic burden of skin diseases and increasing access to care.3
